I’m Rehan Shafiq, a passionate Software Engineering student at COMSATS University Islamabad (Sahiwal Campus), currently in my fourth semester.

My journey in tech started early—I’ve been fascinated by computers and devices since childhood. I got my first laptop in second year of FSC and immediately began experimenting with different tools and software. I’ve always loved learning how things work, especially when I can see real results through hands-on projects.

Since then, my curiosity has only grown stronger. I explored basic web development with HTML and CSS and completed Harvard’s CS50x course during a summer break. That experience gave me a strong foundation in computer science and helped me feel more confident in my skills.

Currently, I’m focused on mastering key areas like Object-Oriented Programming, Database Systems, and Data Structures and Algorithms. I enjoy working in Linux environments, and after trying both Ubuntu and Kali Linux, I’ve now returned to Ubuntu in my third semester because it provides better developer tools and a smoother development experience.

I believe in learning by doing. I’ve built several projects—from simple terminal apps to desktop applications—and I’m always excited to explore new technologies. I’m especially passionate about cybersecurity and ethical hacking, and I aim to become an expert in this field.

My goal is to contribute to meaningful projects, grow as a software engineer, and build secure, efficient, and impactful software solutions.
